The PADI Instructor Development Course (IDC) that we do at Buceo Wayuu, will allow you to obtain the Open Water Scuba Instructor (OWSI) qualification. Once the IDC is done, a PADI examiner will come to our facilities to evaluate the instructor candidates in a test called IE. Dive professionals who hold an instructor rating with another diver training organization may be eligible to enroll directly in the OWSI program. You also need to be an Emergency First Response Instructor, but you can earn this rating during your instructor training.
Paso 1:
Diving equipment that you will need.
Each candidate will need to have all the basic diving equipment at the beggining of the course: Fins, Mask and tuve, appropriate wetsuit, knife, BCD, regulator plus octopus, pressure gauge, depth gauge, compass, dive watch.
paso 2:
Training materials I should bring to the course.
Open Water, Advanced, Rescue and Divemaster Student Manual,Diving Knowledge Workbook, Diving PADI Encyclopedia, eRDPml, Pocket mask,you will also need the EFRI manuals.
paso 3:
What does the course include.
PADI Instructor Kit, EFR Theoretical training, Confined Water training, Open Water training, Nitrox Instructor course (does not include student kit or fees), Oxygen Provider Instructor course (does not include student kit or fees).
International projection.
Prepare your suitcase, with the title of PADI Instructor you will be trained to train PADI Open Water students around the world.
